I have always enjoyed and appreciated art, and wished that I could spend more time sketching and painting. Here are a couple of samples of pencil sketches I've done.

Since I'm fascinated with beautiful female faces, it is not surprising that these are what I enjoy drawing most. These drawings were based on photos I saw in magazines, no one famous - that I know of. I need to work on certain aspects of technique, but then, like so many things, practice makes perfect. Oh, for 36-hour days!

As always, I would really appreciate any constructive comments on the sketches above. Please comment via my guestbook since that is the quickest and easiest way. I will happily write back. (I've had a number of people suggest that I should add a sketch of myself (Jennie). It's a great idea, and until just recently, I didn't have a photo that I could work from. Now I've got one. So I'll be sharpening the lead, and putting pencil to paper in the not too distant future. If it's any good, I'll add it to the 'gallery'.)
